Plakets and clips

Plakets are the plastic clips that connect the hail nets and insect nets together. The connection of the nets is usually above the grass track. The Wiesel plakets ensure that the nets are completely sealed off above the orchard. The nets supplied by Fruitsecurity Holland are quick to open and close. You can open and close the nets economically by using the plakets, because of the fast way of working and the long lifespan.

Mounting

Plakets are mounted in the reinforced strips at the border or end of the hail nets. A special hook and locking system makes it easy to install. In the event that one of the nets is accidentally installed incorrectly, the nets can be opened and reinstalled. The caps are designed with rounded edges to avoid damaging the hail nets.

UV-resistant

Plakets, net clips and all other types of clips used in the orchard must be UV resistant. The Wiesel plakets and net clips are made of high quality plastic.

Temperature

The material used is mainly black polypropylene with a high impact resistance, resistant to temperatures of +50 to -30 degrees Celsius and with good mechanical properties even at low temperatures. The width of the netting ensures sufficient grip. Wear and tear of the nets is thus prevented.
